Taiwan Porridge Kingdom

I love the way that people order directly at the counter with no menu. And the food is quite tasty and service is okay enough. The only thing I feel odd is cash-only. But there is an ATM machine in store that you may use if your cash runs short. Or you may choose to come another time. Parking is such limited during weekend and a few minutes waiting time must consider when you come.

It's like family style tapas for Taiwanese porridge. Order dishes first. Your porridge (rice and some soft yam) will be waiting at your table. They bring your dishes out to share family style. Prices range from ~$5-7 per dish from what we ordered.Quality is great, very traditional styled dishes. Would come again. Service is efficient.Super busy lunchtimes. You can reserve a spot on Yelp, but full party has to be present to be seated.

We sometimes just want a light meal with a porridge and small dishes like tapas in Spanish cuisine. This is the place for that. Each dish is relatively cheap and also is relatively small in size. You can order more dishes with the same amount of money if you were dining in a regular restaurant. You have to go to the counter to order what you want and then they will bring the food to your table. The porridge is all you can eat. It is really popular so getting there early or sign up on the wait-list on line before you go.

Super casual place for a cafeteria style selection of Taiwanese food. You pick your dishes at the counter and they bring it to your table. Really tasty, pretty affordable. Be prepared to wait a bit in line, especially if you are a larger party.

We like a lot going out. Last night we visited this fine restaurant which friends recommended to us. We passed a delightful evening there with first-rate meal and an efficient stuff and a talented chef. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we shall surely come back soon. We warmly recommend.

We've been here a few times in the past but I never managed to write a review until now. They have a huge variety of dishes to choose from & also an extensive menu on top of that. There's - of course - unlimited sweet potato porridge!This place is always packed whenever we come (it's likely because we always go during prime dinner rush), but service is always expedient. Cash only!

Really LOVE the dishes here! It looks casual, but so yummy and tasty! I’ve been to this place for 4 times and there’s no dish ever disappointed me. Especially loved the chili chicken!
